My name is Rachel, and I am the owner of Free Birds Interior Design Studio. I set up my own company a year and a half ago after working for an independent studio specialising in the design and refurbishment of residential homes for over 5 years and successfully designed and managed over 20 projects. I am passionate about creating spaces that reflect your style and personality (and budget). Over the years, we have forged wonderful connections with suppliers and contractors to help us bring many projects to life. 

Whilst we are currently working on multiple projects, however, they are not yet photographed or completed which is why there is no image gallery of projects on the website yet, however, I am happy to send a portfolio with details of some of the projects I ran in my capacity as Senior Designer for the Studio I used to work at and a copy of the services we offer. 

We spend time understanding your requirement and style preferences  to ensure that we create a design that is not only beautiful but also practical and suited to your needs.

From vision boards to mood boards, material samples and 2D layouts - we can ensure that your project is expertly planned before any works are carried out. We work closely with you to ensure we match or even better, exceed, your expectations to create the space you have always dreamed of.

We will select and organise quotes with relevant contractors and prepare a detailed budget, draw bespoke joinery where required, work out estimated timelines and prepare a schedule of work ahead of building.

We schedule all contractors, ensure all materials are on site when needed, order fittings and furniture and attend regular site visits to ensure the works are carried out to the expected standards.
